Like Pistol Pete, definitely one of the most underrated players in NBA history. As Oscar alluded to, injuries and other problems hampered the career of this brilliant, talented player.

Drugs and injuries shortened the career of this player, who's kind of faded from the public eye and from the memories of fans. He primarily played for the Denver Nuggets in the mid to late 70's, and was an electrifying player, thought by many to be the second most exciting player of his time, behind perhaps only Dr. J. He was one of the first stars I was aware of, and once scored 73 points. Too bad the drug and other problems marred his career, because at his peak he was truly awesome to watch.
