And the only, repeat, only way to make it is with Rose's Lime Cordial.

With good gin, the drink is both strong and sophistaced, yet sweet and refreshing. My drink of choice is bourbon-rocks, but this is a fine cocktail I order when the mood strikes me.

 | GenghisTheHun (168) 03/20/2006 | Many, many years ago, when there were still wolves in Wales, I worked on a job in the 1960's that paid once a month. In the summer it would be tremendously hot, and we would meet on payday on a hot day and drink gin gimlets during "twofer time" happy hour.
Irish is right. Rose's Lime is the only correct mix and a couple of hazel nuts floating on the top is also required.
