 | Loerke (46) 08/30/2007 | The perfect drink. There's a nice line in Stephen Malkmus's song "Pink India" with an English viceroy complaining, "I had a crap gin and tonic / it wounded me ..." It would wound me, too, if I ever had a bad version of this drink.

Makes you understand how the Brits acquired half of the tropical world, and why they did it.

 | magellan (153) 08/30/2007 | I drink tomato juice on planes. I drink tap water after basketball. In dive bars, I'll only drink beer. And if I'm at a wedding, it has to be G&T's.

 | TheKostcoKid (1) 11/30/2006 | A classic. When served with lime, this is probably my favorite 2 well drink. You don't even need good gin for this to be a reasonable beverage. It has more character than a vodka tonic, yet shares the same simple refreshing qualities.
