 | cutegurl (15) 04/23/2005 | I don't think that discrimination is as much as a problem in the political spectrum as intolerance. There is a difference in discrimination and intolerance and I think the latter is the bigger problem. People just don't want to hear what anyone else has to say, unless you agree with them. People have no tolerance for other thoughts and opinions. There are plenty of ways to share opinions and thoughts and everybody is allowed so discrimination is not a problem. Now we just need to be more tolerant of what other people think.

 | Underspin (24) 02/11/2005 | I've had every kind of friend on the political spectrum (fascists being the exception), and nothing really bothers me other than intolerance and disrespect for another's well thought out viewpoint. This respect is an essential, key element for living in a functional, healthy democracy.

 | LanceRoxas (40) 11/05/2004 | try being a republican in NYC on the upper east side...LOL I think the government should initiate policies that properly allocate employment opportunities to those of varying political beliefs in the name of diversity. I mean that's what we're all about right?

 | kamylienne (77) 09/06/2004 | Not as big of a deal, but it's tiring to hear people dismiss others just due to party affiliations. But, hey, at least we HAVE more than one party to choose from. Some parts of the world don't have that luxury.
