5 stars doesn't begin to do this album justice. "You Don't Love Me", is for me one of the best songs the boys ever did. With Thom Doucette's harp it's positively rapturous. Damn freakin' shame losing D and Oakley.
Whoever yelled out "Whippin' Post" is immortalized forever, even though it spawned the now trite and infamous "Freebird" scream yelled at every concert from Metallica to Madonna.
Frankly, I don't give a damn where I'm sent when I die, just as long as these two (and the rest of the original cast) are there.
Rest in peace, Skydog...
