Lineup is strong, but you can't go far at all without pitching.

I don't see anything really happening for this team. They might be good in a few years, but for the time being, i don't see it.

As much as Millwod bombed in Philly and Padilla was an inconsistent troublesome brat these two will thrive in Texas and answer the pitching problem of the Rangers. The offense of course is amazing and this team is going to dominate not only the AL West but the whole league.

I think anybody would have to love their young collection of offensive players, but this team still has never addressed their lack of pitching. The team last made the playoffs in 1999, and since then have not finished above 3rd in a 4 team division. They have always had a collection of offensive stars, but no memorably good pitchers. I don't see them being able to win their division or the Wild Card with their continued lack of quality pitching.

A 2.5. The hitting is fine, even taking away the fact that they play in one of the most offense friendly parks in the majors. Guys like Teixeira, Young, and Blalock are all fine hitters. The pitching has improved with the addition of Millwood, but they still don't have enough of it. Should win around 80-90 games, but it won't be enough to win the division, and they'll probably come in third in their division.

I wouldn't bet the farm on them.
