The Cardinals are at the World Series and will win. St. Louis home to the best baseball fans in the world. No argument

By far the most solid team.

By far the best team. They have great pitching and even better offense.

Playoffs for sure because of their everyday lineup. Their bullpen concerns me. Izzy is not as reliable as he once was, and that hurts in the playoffs. Can their starting pitching hold on-their depth on the staff is a concern as far as going to the Series in October.

Every year it seems people pick them. . .every year they find a way to blow it. . .still, it's hard to bet against them.

Great looking ballclub. I think the loss of Morris will hurt a little bit, they have the talent on offense to back it up. I'd give the pitching a 4 out of 5.

Won't manhandle the rest of the division, or win by 15 games or something, and aren't quite as strong as they were before. The pitching is overall good, though not stupendous. However, they still have a fine defensive club, and players like Pujols, the declining but still effective Edmonds, Eckstein, and Rolen ( if healthy) should assure them of another N.L. Central crown, and they may very well be the N.L. representative in The Series.

Their combination of pitching and hitting still makes them the team to beat in the NL. Pujols is arguably the best player in baseball, and he has a good lineup around him. No other NL team looks good enough on paper for me to pick anybody else to represnt the NL in the World Series.

It's time for Larussa and the Cards to take a step down. The pitching is not great and Rolen's a whiny crybaby!
