To be honest I thought the show was boring, but that is probably because television technology at that time was really poor. It was too fake. The show really started to go downhill when the husband was replaced by someone else. It totally ruined what character the show had to begin with. If you want to watch a television series that is actually fun and entertaining involving magic...I would highly consider Buffy the Vampire Slayer..as Willow the witch was way more entertaining and realistic. A mistake alot of people make is that Buffy the Vampire Slayer wasn't TRULY written for teenagers. Alot more adults watched all 7 seasons of that show than they will ever admit because it was fun and it had an adult theme, not to mention it didn't have a character like Tabitha who was totally bland on Bewitched and she COULDN'T act. A really untalented child actress. Betwitched was just BORING, period. A total waste of time.

Loved it... watched it regularly. Back then, everyone wanted to be Tabitha. With a mom like that, who needed to borrow homework assignment notes!

just loved Bewitched when i was a kid. I still like to watch it now and then now. what little girl does not wish she could do magic? I was one of them just to twitch my nose and magic happens. or like Tabitha who could do wishcraft.and think about something by wishing and it happens. heck I still joke about being Samantha and the housework gets done and a fabulous dinner appears. a very likable and funny show. Elizabeth Montgomery was wonderful as Samantha.

Probably the first television series involving magic. Inspired by Bell, Book, and Candle, a movie in which Kim Novak bewitches Jimmy Stewart into loving her. (Hey, she had failed in Vertigo, but the second time's the charm). It was amusing, and I had a crush on Elizabeth Montgomery who played both the main character Samantha and her rowdier cousin Serena. Later learned that she was bisexual - which evoked some pretty wild images in my horny teenage head involving her and Barbara Eden.
