yes, it most definitely was considered a soap opera. I don't think there was a whole lot of witch craft involved in this one though. It was strictly vampires. When I was a kid, I use to run home from school just so I wouldn't miss any of it. I'll never forget the episode where someone cut off Jarard's head and used it as a banister post. I thought that was the highlight of the entire series!

This was a soap opera about vampires. There was magic, and certainly occult. Never really got into it.
