03/22/2006 | Well, he recently stated on Larry King that he is no longer so certain that you need to be "born again" or even Christian to attain salvation, and he has considerably de-emphasized the hellfire emphasis of his ministry. Plus, he apologized for anti-semitic remarks made during the Nixon reign, and has differed with Falwell and the religious right's belief that the United States has some special purpose in God's plan as "unbiblical."

03/22/2006 | I only see a little change in his ministry and mindset since he started it in the late 40s. He's still a decent man, though and he's one of the few Christians who is admired by many worldwide for spreading hope and the Word of God.
