03/22/2006 | He was a right wing hit man who has admitted to lying about Anita Hill to help Clarence Thomas' confirmation. He wrote about Troopergate leading to yet another Clinton scandal. He wasn't just conservative, but was an attack dog. Later, he came out as gay and switched loyalties, becoming very liberal. He started up Media Matters, and appears regularly on liberal talk shows including Al Franken's in a segment entitled We Will Brock You.

Media Matters has earned recognition for its accuracy, which has to get on the nerves of Bill O'Reilly who hates them with a passion, and turns beat red with temples throbbing when it gets mentioned on his show. Brock's book Blinded by the Right reads like an "I was a Maffia hitman" memoir, and is very illuminating as to how the right wing manipulates the media.
