 | Ih8rateitall (5) 03/24/2006 | I'm not abusive or a control freak at all dudes. Me and my girlfriend set the rules and I work and she cooks and takes care of the house. I can't stand sassy chicks dudes. Those are the kind of chicks that sue you and take all of your stuff!

 | Drummond (54) 03/24/2006 | Come again about the "controlling" issue?
A marriage is an equal partnership. If you can't reach agreements in fundamental issues, you shouldn't marry to begin with. Sometimes, it's appropriate for one partner to defer to the other. I don't believe there should be any set rules about whom, and it should depend on the situation - who has the experience, etc.

 | souljunkie (20) 03/24/2006 | While this has the ring of sexism to it, In my experience ladies will go along with this concept if you handle it the right way. "The right way" is to ask for the last word and be ready to explain why. The times that I have done this I can count on one hand but they were real crisis. These were instances when the wife bowed to my request more because she did not want to carry the responsibility of the decision if it went bad on us....go figure right fellas. LOL.
