Chespeake Bay bridge-tunnel is definately one of the greatest achievements in engineering. Over 17 miles long it connects Virginia Beach with the Delmarva peninsula crossing the Chespeake Bay through a series of bridges and 2 tunnels. It has fishing piers and observation areas and in some places your driving over water where your not even able to view the shore.
