I felt this was a ripoff of the Usual Suspects formula.Denzel was horrible in this movie and the better actor willem defoe was basically a no show

This movie is a near-masterpiece. It's a great tribute to heist movies and '70s-style realism. The story gets a little too twisted at the end, but the dialogue is more substantive than anything I've seen in a mainstream movie in years. And funny, too: "Albanian! 100 percent Albanian!"

Heist movies are almost always entertaining, and Inside Man did a great job of creating a fresh plot in this type of genre. The script was very good, and they put together a great group of actors, who all excelled in their roles. Definitely one of the better movies of the year in my opinion.
