The Rock Bottom is appropriately named. I have eaten there many times over the last seven years, and I am sorry to say that it has gone downhill fast in the last year. (I heard that it was bought out by a large corporation, which might explain its decline.) The quality of the food is much lower than it used to be. My favorite appetizer, the Asiago Cheese Dip, is a cheap imitation of its former self, for example. It used to be a thick, creamy dip laden with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes and topped with a layer of cheese. What I ordered (and ultimately sent back) last Saturday night would be more appropriately named "Tasteless Hot Mayonnaise Dip." My salad arrived missing a major ingredient (I was too hungry to send it back). The nachos (that replaced the dip) were awful- stale chips, very little cheese, and bad salsa. To top it off, the restaurant is much smokier and louder than it used to be. I wouldn't recommend the Rock Bottom under any circumstances!
