It's funny because it's true. Gary Cole as the clueless boss just kills me. I can't even say the words "That would be great." without thinking of his delightfully obnoxious delivery.

By itself, it's probably a 4. . .but as a cult movie it scores a 5. . .does any other movie capture the frustration and stupidity of the workplace?

A unique cult favorite: most cult films are over-the-top parodies, while this one is incredibly funny on its own terms. My wife watches this every time she quits a job. There is nothing else like it. Inexplicably, Office Space failed in the theaters, yet it has fortunately had a very successful afterlife on DVD. Gary Cole delivers one of the all-time classic comic performances as the boss: "Um, yeeeah, I'm going to neeeed you to come in on Saaa-tur-day ... " The myopic and spineless consultants, oracles of wisdom in the restructuring of Initech, are a great comic duo. One of my all-time favorites.

Management: The career of choice for those with no other marketable skill. I loved Office Space because it captured quite a few of the personalities I had already met in my business experience. I watch this movie at least 4 times a year.

A funny movie although I'm sure office managers across the country were hopin that their employees didn't see this movie. If you're a cube dweller, be sure to get a red stapler.
