Cinematography is terrific in this movie. Music score O.K. Love Audrey Hepburn, always thought Rex Harrison was over-rated.

Although the movie is good, don't miss an opportunity to see this one on stage.

Great musical. good songs. like the plot. Henry Higgins meets Eliza Doolittle on the street after an outing.they come from different worlds. He from the rich privelages, speaks with perfect diction even makes it his career studying the way dialects are. Eliza is a street girl who has a cockney type accent, no education. he agrees to teach her good diction after a bet with mr pickering another dialect specialist. she stays with him and for months practices her dialect to improve. if she can pass herself off as a "lady" she gets rewarded. Based on the Book Pygmalion. good story. good actors although as much as I like Audrey Hepburn it would have been interesting to see Julie Andrews too in this role.
