An excellent performance as Buck Weaver in John Sayles fine film about the fix of the 1919 Series.

Cusak was fabulous as Buck Weaver, the third baseman, who according to legend never took a dime but went down with the rest anyway because he didn't turn them in. Eight Men Out is of course about the Chicago "Blacksox" who threw the World Series in 1919 on behalf of gamblers. One of John Sayles' best films.
