I like listening to classical music. Especially the more softer gentle music. i do not play it to impress anyone just another kind of music I like.

Depends. . .'Moonlight Sonata' during dinner is a cheesy college move, but not without some charm. . .then again, playing classical music and (trying) appreciating it is the opposite of stupidity. . .it speaks to some effort to understanding a complex art form. . .

I would be more impressed with the intelligence of someone who would feel comfortable admitting what they actually like or dislike. I've enjoyed classical music since I was a child partly because my father loved it and introduced me to it at an early age. For the most part, I can't stand country music - but how naive would I be if I actually thought I was more intelligent than people who do?
