NO WAY. This is very pretentious. I would say people who do this have very little people skills, and probably an obsession with proving their intelligence to others. I know a lot of those stupid kids who get straight A's and joined every club like to do this. It's not very mature, and it's rude. Using quotes that have no relevance to a conversation or to your own life is utterly overbearing.

If you quote their words but do not understand the meaning or do not learn from the content within then you have wasted your breath because you speak not from the heart.
