6th Day, The (2000)

The 6th Day is not in the same league with the great Schwarzenegger films such as Total Recall and Terminator 2, but it's a well-crafted entertainment containing enough ideas to qualify it as science fiction and not just as a futurist thriller. $20.87 at Barnes & Noble.com

6th Day, The (2000) 5

Although this is an Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle, Duvall has a strong role and a sypathethic role.  Duvall is a scientist involved in illegal cloning but gets tied up in the process to reproduce his wife who has a terminal disease.  The role is oddly sympathetic.

6th Day, The (2000) 5

I thought Duvall was great in this movie. How he got wrapped up in the cloning to save his wife and later to regret it for he had a big heart and saw the evil his part in it had on many others.
