 | ColtSeries70 (14) 02/22/2007 | The greatest TV show of all time. Between the ridiculous comedian Jerry who focuses on the most ridiculous minutiae, George- The neurotic crazy friend of Jerry who is the stingiest character, a habitual liar who has an alias and many secret lives. He is nuts. paranoid character, Elaine the ex girlfriend of Jerry who is still friends with him and is always dating the wrong men. Kramer- The wackiest TV neighbor who does not have a job, hangs out with shady people and munges for food from jerry. He has a hot tub in his apartment. Newman, the neighbor from 5E. He is the lowest crummiest fattest person who is a US postal worker. Him and Kramer are friends yet him and Jerry are enemies. There also is the parents of George and Jerry who probably contributed to them being crazy. The hilarious thing is that they are very low people yet they think they are good people This show focuses on the tiniest minutiae in life as well as relationships, base instincts, food, analysis of others, money, sex, humor, rudeness, bootlegging, cuban cigars, virgins, pilots of shows, odors, cars, mechanics, sports, thanking, aliases, how to get rid of a fiance, dishonesty, evasion of work, cockfighting, businesses, impotence, "faking it" in bed, misunderstandings, horrible coincidences, subways, gayness, Fresh fruit, cereal, nick at nite, cable tv., clothing, gifts, insanity, non fat yogurt, Festivus, Seniors, Florida, heckling, waiting to be served at a restuarant; that is just the start of all the topics discussed in this show. Due to the amount of topics and the large amounts of complex plots and subplots, it has no central plot- therefore it is a show about nothing and everything at the same time. It is the perfect show nothing has ever trumped this sitcom. You feel these characters. Due to Jerry Seinfeld's observational comedy style, the show turns regular life, regular people, and regular situations into some of the funniest things I have ever heard and seen. It is masterfully written, perfectly directed, just SO well done. Not only that but the casting was great. Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Jean Louise Dreyfuss, Michael Richards- The only problem is that they did not make enough episodes. 180 episodes is a lot, but they could have done more. I cannot blame them for wanting to go out with a bang. I watch this every night, and I reccomend anyone who has not seen this show to start watching this to start. You will love it! Lots of great Quotes. Thank you Larry David & Jerry Seinfeld. You guys have brightened America's life with your post modern humor that never gets old. You cn see each eisode 8 times, and every time you watch it again you notice new things and it is still funny. This is what made NBC great in the 1990's. Probably the greatest thing since sliced bread. My favorite episodes are probably the soup nazi, the contest, the mango, the merv griffin show, the bottle deposit and my all time favorite- THE BIZARRO JERRY. Fun, Fun.Fun!!!
PS- My favorite quote: "You chose soup over a woman"-Elaine "It was a bisque"- Jerry
also "This is beyond B.O. This is B*B.O."- George
