Hours, The (2002) 4

she was good as the again 50s housewive{is there a theme here?}who is dealing with severe depression. she is so devasted with life she wants to die. she has a little boy and baby girl. she cannot bring herself to kill herself so instead she abandons them. we see her about forty years later because the son she abandoned is dying. very tragic story. yet her performance brought sympathy to me. I could see her heart breaking and the awful decision she had to make.and the horrible affect depression had on her.
