Freedomland (2006) 1

Cannot understand how it is that Moore remains among my favorite actors when such a disproportionate few of her movies - one in four among this list - are any good. Even singling out her outstanding performances in 'The Hours,' 'Far From Heaven,' 'The End of the Affair,' 'Short Cuts,' and 'Vanya on 42nd Street' cannot displace from mind the fact of some truly bad and forgettable experiences like 'Freedomland,' 'The Forgotten,' 'Laws of Attraction' and her misconceived casting in Wilde's 'An Ideal Husband.'

What's that you say, wife?: "Redhead?" Who? Julianne Moore? A redhead - like you? Really. How about that. You think? Can't be. 'Boogie Nights' is on, huh? Lemme have another look. I'll let you know how it comes out.
