My parents have Comcast, Aunt has Cox, a friend has Time Warner, I have Mediacom. Not having a choice I activated a account with Mediacom for all three services. I am now going to move so I have something better. They have by faw been the worst ISP, Cable, Digital Telephone service I have been a part of. Slow download speeds, worst selection of HD channels, frequent dropped calls. They only had one thing going and that was Tech support. I could careless give me something that's badass so I don't have to talk to a Tech! If Mediacom is your only choice I suggest you get Satellite TV and high speed internet through dsl or satellite.

Mediacom is the best cable company I have experienced. While all service providors do have issues, Mediacom attempts to resolve whatever issues I've had. They contribute massive amounts to the community both with funraising events and local employment. Mediacom service areas are typically small towns (after a conversation with an employee I learned Des Moines Iowa is the largest area Mediacom services) they have done a great job upgrading the existing old systems in my area. Keep up the good work!!

I'll just make this brief. DO NOT GET HOME PHONE SERVICE THROUGH MEDIACOM! YOU WILL REGRET IT! ESPECIALLY IF YOU SWITCHED FROM AT&T. YOU ARE BETTER OFF PAYING AN EXTRA 15 - 20 DOLLARS THAN SWITCHING TO MEDIACOM AND HAVING YOUR PHONE CUT OFF JUST BECAUSE ITS A GREY DAY OUT. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Seems as though mediacom is rarely reliable. More often than not I have found myself on the phone with a very appologetic service tech that can do very little to solve the problems of this lack luster cable provider. Truely a "Mom and Pop" company.
