Such a Western cliche that became boring after a while.

i will give it a five not because I thought it was fantastic. but it is one of the longest running series ever. and James Arness stayed the whole time. I remember the much later ones from about the mid sixties to early seventies. My dad was the huge western fan in our family. besides comedies he always tuned into these. this was fine for a wester. Matt Dillon, miss Kitty, festus, and doc. wow brings back memories and now it is on Tvland.
