Somewhat quirky, intelligently written show, with Richard Boone as the morally ambiguous (by TV standards of the day) hero.

I just bought the entire first year of episodes on dvd. I had forgotten how erudite, sophisticated and thought provoking that this series actually was. I recommend watching all the re-runs that you can!

In a time when most shows had a moral theme, Richard Boone brought a different take, a sort of a cool dark gruff element to this western. As Johnny Cash was to country music, Richard Boone was to westerns.
