05/14/2007 | We have a problem, Houston. It's apparent that many reviewers have this rating reversed. If you agree that this activity (being an internet predator) is a foul, insidious crime, you should be rating it 5 stars, not 1 star. Kind of confusing, isn't it? You're not rating whether it's a good idea to do this, you're rating whether it's a really, really bad thing for someone to do. The worse it is in your mind, the more stars you should give it. And I give it 4 stars. It's a foul, degenerate, pathetic thing that takes a screwed-up person to do. Not as bad as murder, which is the ultimate 5-star act, but it's definitely up on the second tier. What do you think causes the development of creeps like this? We need to solve this and other causes of criminality, don't you think? How can we thinking folks work to solve it?

04/17/2006 | I couldn't agree more with Jed's comment; you shouldn't be doing it AT ALL, much less be CAUGHT doing it. Though, I will say, I'd much rather that they get caught doing it; these people need to be taken out of society, away from our children.

04/14/2006 | who knew that within this last decade we would have a whole new way of harassment? there are some sick out there. it keeps coming up in the news. perverts who prey on kids. people who find a way to steal your indentity. false advertising for products that you give your credit card and never get the product{this one happened to me} hell we have seen it on rateitall when someone comes on here picks out a few posters they do not like give them all nos or give themselves 10 mailboxes so they can give themselves tons of points. too bad that although the internet has been a wonderful way of getting information communicating with others, shopping etc. there are those flies in the ointment.

04/14/2006 | Jed: I'm glad someone finally said it. I'd planned on it, but this pc wasn't allowing the rate pop-up to load. You're entirely right. This list certainly has things that are, okay enough but bad for being caught, but some of these things are downright criminal and shouldn't even be performed at all. If you weren't doing them, you wouldn't have to worry about the consequences of being caught.

04/14/2006 | This is odd. Some of the items on this list are indeed "things you shouldn't be CAUGHT doing. Others, however - like this one - are simply things you shouldn't DO.. period. Being "caught" having nothing to do with whether or not they're okay.
