No one with two brain cells in his or her head believes that Dan Brown is a scholar. It's a work of fiction. Let it go. Play with your kids. Read a book that isn't for the beach. Watch PBS. Just please, please, please let this overrated work of fiction die its deserved death without paranoids keeping it alive- please. . .

Nonsense, of course.

OWNER'S CLARIFICATION: Be not defensive, unless the humor escapes you. Kindly do not disregard the caveat that came with this list from the start: "...Let us get out in the open the premise and conjectures that the 'The DaVinci Code' proponents submit to the consideration of the general public and summarize. Hopefully, the irony of the postings will not be lost among any." Prior to initiating said list, looked up the assumptions and/or hypotheses that Dan Brown put forth among unsuspecting readers, most and perhaps all of which constitute these items.

There is not one scintilla of credible evidence for this. You have to use the crystal ball, that the Gnostics used, to deduce the "higher," i.e. hidden meaning to come to this conclusion. It is sad that modern, supposedly educated peoples, fall for this obvious nonsense.

I understand what this is trying to say! But if anyone looks into secular and Christian history they will put this sentence to shame! People that suggest such statements are just trying to put a slur on Jesus Christ and Christianity! Wake up a smell the coffee the only one you are fooling is yourself!
