	GenghisTheHun (168) 10/12/2007	There has been so much pumping out of materials on the Da Vinci Code, Knights Templars, Masons, and others on the History Channel lately that my television set is getting the dry heaves. Suffice it to state that not one scintilla of evidence exists in the historical record to support this proposition. The Templars were a gaggle of Knights formed to defend Christian interests in the Holy Land during the Crusades. The King of France decided that he needed a revenue enhancement, as Nancy Pelosi calls a tax increase, but the king was a little more direct about it.
