Certain stretches of the bus route are more promising then others.

*chuckle* There be strange people on the bus...

Okay so you've got the ride this bus, crammed together with people you don't know, people who may or may not be dirtier and smellier than you, people who may or may not really annoy you. Or, you could be looking at a cute somebody who's a few people away, and you could make the best of the situation. If this person looks bored and isn't chatting away on a cell phone, you're in the clear. He or she can't walk away from you - at least not until the next stop - so you might as well give it a shot. Chances are they're bored. I have not personally picked up any girls via the bus however I have talked to a few, and even gotten off the wrong stop to continue the conversation. I have heard from more than one pretty female friend that they have smiled at a cute guy on a bus, or even had a conversation with one, but neither party pulled the trigger and got the digits. This tells me 2 things: #1 - cute, single girls are in fact open to an introduction via bus, and #2 - single people need to use a little creativity and spark up a conversation in an otherwise untapped resource.
