I have one, a nice Kitchen Aid too, but I rarely use it except maybe for the Holidays and not every Holiday at that. I find I don't bake as much as I would like so it sits there staring at me. I have a bread machine so I don't use the dough hooks for anything. I did make some pies and a cake for Christmas and used it for those. It hasn't been touched since. I bought the sausage attachment but it never worked quite right and the slicer attachment I wanted, my DH talked me out of, bless his heart. I might have used that but he promised to get me a meat slicer so I am waiting.

I like to bake, so I find mine very useful.

Essential for big baking jobs.
