When your owner/General Manager/Chief Manipulator is 86 years old and your "General Manager" is an 80 year old rookie, and your new (defensive specialist) Head Coach has a losing record (and you passed on Mike Sherman) these are the types of decisions that happen. Almost as stupid as the Texans passing on Reggie Bush. Almost.
Overall, Buffalo's defense last year, in the absence of Takeo Spikes, was credible but for its habit of quitting with 10 minutes to go in the game. That coach is gone and that habit probably is also. How they could look at this pathetic excuse for an offense and say, "we need some good defensive guys" is beyond ridiculous.

However, I think Ashton Youboty was a good pick in the 3rd round, and they did have 9 overall picks. I think their draft will turn out alright, but really could have been more spectacular.
