Tight end was needed, but the free ancy period is not over, and Hester may yet prove to be of some worth to not only special teams but to the Wide Receiver Position as well. Two very good Defensive backs, and two equally competitive Linemen were the Steal-of-the-day!!

Their first pick o the day is from Abilene Christian, so who knows how he will pan out with a much larger increase in talent facing him compared to most other draft picks. I like Devin Hester as a special teams player, but will they try to use him on offense as well? The only true offensive player they chose was a fullback in the 6th round. For a team whose weakness was on the offensive side of the ball, I don't think they did nearly enough to upgrade their offense.
