05/02/2006 | The Chargers are definitely gambling with Antonio Cromartie as their first round pick. He has been praised for his immense ability since high school, but he never really shined at FSU. He hasn't played in over a year because of a knee injury, and scouts say he doesn't have good technique at all. This doesn't seem like a safe bet for a team that has a big need for a cornerback. I do however like their selections of Marcus McNeial and Charlie Whitehurst.
