 | Drummond (54) 05/08/2006 | Well, conservatives in general are off their denials of warming, as the artic ice continues to melt at a rapid pace. They've opened up a new last ditch defense, namely that it's all nature's fault, that we're still climbing out of the ice age and the fact that it's been accelerated dramatically over several decades is just coincidence. They'll be in denial right up to the point the water level reaches their necks.

The Senate voted down the Kyoto Protocal 94-0. Is there really something here to discuss?
Should we protect the environment, avoid pollutiong the air and water? Absolutely. Is there a country which spends more money than the US soes today to do that? Sorry, there isn't.
If you're really concerned about the environment, identify the really dangerous countries which have no regulations on it. How's China's record? India? Russia? Mexico?
