Larios is one of the most over-priced, charmless, restaurants I have ever been to. The food was awful, the service third rate, and when presented with the bill I thought it must be a mistake. Alas it wasn't!

Nice location right on South Beach looking onto the water. Food's decent too--not the best Cuban food, but well prepared.

Lario's is Gloria Estefan's restaurant, located right on the main drag of South Beach along the water. The food is surprisingly good for a tourist trap, with great fish plates, well-prepared "Moros y Cristianos" (black beans and rice), and excellent plantains. If you are looking for a good Cuban meal but do not feel like venturing from the tourist zones, Lario's is a good place to check out. If you are looking for a GREAT Cuban meal, don't go here - head to Calle 8.

My favorite is Lario's because you can sit down and have a good dinner. The food is great!

Although there are a number of restaurants along Ocean Ave in South Beach, Laurio's really stands out among them. The atmosphere is always lively and the food is excellent.
