 | Drummond (54) 05/12/2006 | This would be a great matchup between two classically opposite economic philosophies. Keynes pretty much invented macroeconomics, and his policies became the norm for all of the industrialized world. Friedman revived the laisse faire philosophy and while his policies were never really implemented in the US, it was employed in Chile and Eastern Europe with mixed success. Not quite as extreme as F.A. Hayek, Friedman is a good spokesman for the free market ideology, and both speakers would have the ability to translate complex economics to lay English.
