02/13/2007 | UPDATE: I would rather see Hillary and Bill Clinton debate, this would be funny. Although Bill would eventually win, they would talk in circles until they they both passed out from being dizzy. ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Reagan in his day would have defeated Mr. Bill especially if it was for Clinton's second term. Both were good debaters but Reagan was the better in my book.

I can't imagine Reagan doing anything more than calling Clinton a commie, terroristlover, a taxraiser.
Clinton knew his facts though, unlike Reagan. Clinton is by far a better debater. Reagan knew how to scare people, an art Republicans have perfected.
So I think Clinton would have won had the debate happenend in the 90s. Since the US was more focused on itself than on the world in that period.
In the 80s, and 00s type of situation, Reagan would have won.

02/11/2007 | It would have been a great debate. I think Ron would have won by a decent margin. I am not saying it would have been a major @$$ whoopin, but Ronald was the greatest orator in the White House in the 20th century followed closely by Clinton, Kennedy, and Carter (yes, I think he was great at speaking).
