 | EschewObfuscation (61) 05/12/2006 | This appears to me to be a mis-match. Ann Coulter is a syndicated columnist whom most politically aware folks from both sides of the political spectrum have heard speak, read her views and decided whether or not they like what they see, read or hear.
Only the true stalwart liberals get the chance to hear Stephanie Miller's views as she is marooned on the tiny wasteland of left-wing ideology, Air America radio, and only a dozen people listen to her in a weekly period.
Molly Ivins (as Jed suggests) would bring a bit of gravitas to such a debate although I doubt she would agree to anything resembling a debate with any conservative. You might be able to lure more acrimonious left-wingers like Helen Thomas or Eleanor Clift into such a debate, so long as you assured them that there would be at least three liberals included for every conservative, the way it has always been conducted in the media (until FoxNews).

 | Jed1000 (72) 05/12/2006 | I don't know about this one. I can't listen to Ann Coulter for more than thirty seconds without getting jittery. Make it Molly Ivins and Ann Coulter, however, and I promise I'll try to sit it out. I'll even get popcorn.
