Right libertarianism vs. left libertarianism - this would have been a lively debate. Rand of course would have argued the impossibility of a marriage between collectivism and liberty. Goldman would have responded by pointing out that economic inequities inevitably result in power and political inequities, which are by their very nature detrimental to liberty.
The difference between libertarians and anarchists was once explained thusly:
Anarchists believe that property is theft.
Libertarians believe that everything is property.
Goldman probably also would have pointed out the inconsistancy of Rand's cooperation with the House Un-American Activities Committee during the course of McCarthyism - which might have seemed like a cheap shot, but Goldman was a bit of a pitbull in debate.
