This has been a great restaurant ever since it opened many years ago. My memory is a little hazy, but I think it occupies the site once occupied by a diner (Teehan's) and a Chinese laundry. Food and atmosphere are great. Parking can sometimes be a problem.

1789 was one of the best resteraunts I went to in D.C. The food was amazing and if I can get back there I'd love to go again
