Funny. I was just thinking the exact opposite:

"Entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity".

I like Bill's approach better...

This makes me thing of the "One Size Fits All" folks. They've found a way of living their lives that works for them,and they feel perfectly comfortable on imposing their beliefs on everyone else.

I know my husband would think of me as soon as he sees a quote like this. His solution to most things is Don't worry about it or We'll worry about it when it gets here. While that does work for some things, sometimes I have to say Er, I don't think it's gonna be that easy. Then he gets all annoyed. He calls it pessimism--I call it realism. The goal is to eventually mix his optimism with my pessimism to get a decent solution.

Always be wary of the quick fix. Such problem solving methods may sound easy, but they also create a host of other problems most of the time.
