05/12/2006 | Paul Masson has a nice web site, check it out. The PM VSOP is a nice brandy. It is a blend of American brandy and cognac. It is aged about five years. It is sweetish and interesting. It has an woody, unsweetened cocoa-like after-taste. Personally, I found this a little distracting and something of a hump to get over, but over all, it was an enjoyable brandy. It is not the smoothest brandy, but I'd recommend it - it comes at a good price for the quality.
