I followed my colorist Jennifer there from another salon and instantly left my previous stylist of 15 years to see Simon. I am constantly stopped by strangers asking "Where do you get your hair done?". This is the place you go to get a precision haircut and radiant color that people will ask about. Love, love, love them!!!

 | Pepperhead (0) 05/12/2006 |  On Saturday February 18th, 2006, I had my hair cut by the owner of Mr. Pink Whistle, Simon Marc. I went in with long hair (below my shoulders) and during the consult it was NEVER discussed that he would cut my hair short with many layers. Instead what I asked for was a cut that would allow me to still put my hair up in a ponytail and NO short choppy layers. I repeated this several times. Simon gave me a mullet style haircut with so many choppy layers that I was no longer able to pull it back and up into a ponytail. He also cut all of the baby hairs along my forehead about half an inch short, so they were sticking straight out. I left his salon in shock and was completely devastated. I could truly not believe that he would do this to me. I spent the weekend crying and franctically trying to find another stylist who could help me fix my ruined hair. I work in a professional office environment where I support the president of the company. The only way I could go back to work was to have hair extensions put in. So I spent Monday at a wig shop where I picked out "real hair" extensions that cost $627.85 and then spent over three hours having them put in (cost of having them put in was ($160.00). I will more than likely have to have extensions put in again, as they only last about three months before they fall out. In addition I have been told that the extensions will cause split ends. Therefore it will be about a year and a half before my hair is longer and healthy again. I cannot stress how this experience has been devastating to me. I am very upset that Simon STILL has not returned any of my calls. I am disappointed that Simon cares so little about a distraught customer that the receptionist returns all of my calls. Be aware that if you go to this salon, you will NOT be heard before or after your cut. Simon will cut your hair as he pleases and will not listen to a word you say, whether you like the end result or not. Complete ARROGANCE!
