I worked there from 1976-78, was the most fun I ever had and saw great acts too .. miss everyone there very much

cool place with a decent location...parking was convenient. too bad the bayou went outta business

I proposed to my wife on stage at the bayou with dash rip rock, so i have a special place in my heart for it. unfortunately, it is now closed, so rating it is silly. one more thing that was good about the bayou: it didn't smell as bad as the old 9:30 club.
