08/04/2007 | Not that I haven't ever gone to the salad bar or that they still don't exist but, ;ooking back, you've got to wonder about the geniues who came up with this. Were they all sitting around after a three martini lunch and someone said - hey, here's an idea - instead of getting our salads served at the table let's rig up a trough deal so people can stuff, return, and stuff some more. We'll put a sneeze guard over the top to placate the germ freaks but, still put it at just the right height so that snot-nosed boogary fingered 5+ year olds can rummage through it when mom and dad are busy looking for just the right pickled beet to add to their plate. Yeah, yummmyeee!
