I was never a big fan of Westerns, but "Wa Wa West" (as me and my brother called it) was Must-See TV on Friday Night. The melding of Shoot-em-up/Knock-em-out Jim West (Robert Conrad) and the cerebral Artemis Gordon (Ross Martin) made for a team of great chemistry. The show also was unique that it blended futuristic technology and Science Fiction instead of the usual "Chase the Bank Robbers" theme. There were interesting villains, such as Michael Dunn, the dwarf who played Dr. Loveless. Overall, as entertaining a show I've seen that was non-comedy. The movie version stunk.

Loved when Robert Conrad would rip off his shirt. Miguelito Loveless was one of the best villians in the history of tv.

This was a very unconventional western for its time. Robert Conrad, one of televisions best tough guy actor, was Jim West, a western era secret agent, facing improbable situations. At the time the best fight scenes on TV could be found on ths show.

Outside of Crime Story, this is probably in second place for shows I tried to never miss.I still haven't seen any TV shows that can match the fight scenes from this great series.
