Realistically? There is so much corruption and graft on either side of the isle that each citizen needs to stand up and try to affect change--now. No more water-cooler banter about how funny it is that the president questioned what the definition of "is" is (Clinton) or chats about presidential malapropisms (Bush). We are better than what we have become.

05/19/2006 | He's doing the best he can all right.He's doing the best he can to line the pockets of his Corporate buddies who are War Profiteers and Energy Gougers.He's doing the best he can to get us into another quagmire in Iran.He's doing the best he can to stuff the Supreme court with ultra-right wing whackos who think the Bible should replace the Constitution.He's doing the best he can to devastate any protection of the Ecology,Endangered Species,and Civil Rights.It's a wonder that 30% are even still willing to defend this idiot!

05/18/2006 | Setting the standard for mediocrity is not doing the best you can. That said, only Bush himself can answer the question of whether he's doing the best he can. I think he's not doing enough to set his administration on the right path.
