I know that RIA management in general and Mag particularly are excited about the new tag feature; however, I'm not sold on it yet (as expressed or implied in many of my related comments). I can see the advantages if the system works as envisioned (at least as I understand it), but the biggest problem I see is non-uniformity and irrational tags assigned to lists. I can also reasonably anticipate members using marginal tags in an attempt to get more hits on their lists, and this will ultimately make the system less functional. At this point I simply don't utilize the feature save for the required three tag minimum on each weblist. Perhaps my concerns are unjustified or will be ultimately resolved, but at this point the jury is still out in my book. The end result is three stars since I understand why the feature was added but it still has no value to me personally as of yet.

I really like this feature. It's fun to follow the tag trail through Weblists and people, and find related lists and people who are interested in those lists.

Currently, there is only a fraction of Weblists that have been tagged. I think this is going to be a five star feature once more Weblists get tagged.
